It is estimated that an average American makes around 4.3 pounds of trash everyday. I wonder whether 70% of people would like to know where this trash is going to get dumped or how hazardous is it to his earth, to his country, to his family or just assume to him. In a life time it is estimated that an average American dumps garbage with 600 times of his own weight. Numbers are big, I know, but these are absolute facts and are equally inevitable.
The numbers are inevitable because they go with our life style. A person cannot live without littering. But Americans play a very big role in producing trash among entire world. Because Americans do have very special lifestyle which major comprises of carelessness and irresponsibility.
Coming to humankind, littering is as common for any human as breathing. It may seem exaggerating but it is a fact. It is inevitable, but we can save ourselves from saving most of our dumping yards by recycling. As we are exploding in population every day, we may get short of land some day or the other. We may get short of many other essential things like trees, drinking water, etc.
Why not start today to help ourselves tomorrow.
